Abstract
Cilj diplomske naloge je opisati ter predstaviti delo na projektu rekonstrukcije kotlovnice v slovenskem podjetju za izdelavo premazov. Zaradi dotrajanosti kotlovnice se je investitor odločil za kompletno prenovo. Zamenjali so večje število strojnih elementov, električne inštalacije in krmilni sistem ter posodobili nadzorni sistem SCADA. Pri tem projektu sem delal za podjetje, ki je bilo podizvajalec rekonstrukcije kotlovnice. Moja naloga je bila izdelava aplikativne programske opreme za vodenje in nadzor, namestitev krmilne enote in operaterskega panela ter izvedba testiranja pred zagonom sistema. Predstavil bom izvedbo zastavljenih ciljev na projektu, in sicer programiranje krmilnika, izdelavo nadzornega sistema SCADA in izdelavo programa za posluževanje panela. V prvem delu diplomske naloge so opisani različni sklopi sistema kotlovnice, gradniki, ki so bili uporabljeni pri izvedbi projekta, uporabljeni komunikacijski protokoli ter uporabljena programska in strojna oprema. V drugem delu je predstavljen razvoj avtomatizacije kotlovnice. Opisal sem procese, ki jih krmilimo s pomočjo krmilnika Siemens S7-1500 in delujejo v avtomatskem režimu, ter način izračuna kumulativ posameznih analognih meritev za določena obdobja. Predstavil sem še izdelavo nadzornega sistema SCADA, pripravo nadzornega sistema na operaterskem panelu in način testiranja ustreznosti sistema pred zagonom.

Title:Design and development of a boiler room control system
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to describe and present a project of reconstructing the boiler room in a Slovenian coating company. The investor decided to renovate the entire boiler room due to wear off and its age. The renovation included replacement of a large number of hardware elements, electrical installation, control system and updates on the SCADA system. On this project I worked for a company that was a subcontractor of the reconstruction of the boiler room. My assignment was to develop an application software for system control, installation of the control unit and HMI panel, and to perform testing before the launch of the system. Below I will present the implementation of the objectives on the project, namely programming of the PLC controller, the production of the SCADA control system and the development of the HMI panel program. In the first part of the thesis, I describe various parts of the system, including description of elements of automated system, communication protocols, and the software and hardware used in execution of the project. The second part presents the development of automation of the boiler room. I have described the processes that are controlled by the Siemens S7-1500 controller and operate in the automatic mode, and method of calculation of the cumulative of individual analog measurements for certain time periods. Furthermore, production of the SCADA control system, preparation of the control system on the operator panel and method of testing the system's suitability before launching, are described.
