Abstract
Zaradi zahtevnih oblik izdelkov in potreb po njihovih teoretično natančnih prostorskih modelih, se v fazi razvoja pri tehnični dokumentaciji vse bolj opušča izdelava klasičnih tehničnih risb. V nalogi smo opravili pregled potrebnih informacij za potrebe izdelave izdelkov in možnosti zapisov potrebnih informacij v digitalni obliki neposredno v volumske prostorske modele izdelkov, ki so izdelani s programskimi orodji uporabljenimi v našem okolju. Naloga je zasnovana kot osnova za izdelavo internega priročnika konstrukterjem pri uporabi zapisov digitalnih definicij proizvodov.

Title:Introduction of the principles and standards of model-based definition in the design and manufacturing process
Abstract:
Due to demanding design of product types and needs for their theoretically precise 3D models, the development of technical drawings in the technical documentation stage is being more frequently abandoned. In the thesis we carried out an overview of the necessary information for the needs of manufacturing products and the ability to record the necessary information in digital form directly into the volume spatial models of products, which are developed using the software tools used in our environment. The thesis is designed as the basis for the creation of an internal handbook for designers using model-based definition.
