Abstract
V sklopu magistrskega dela smo ugotavljali, kako izkustveni pouk vpliva na znanje in razumevanje spolnega razmnoževanja rastlin pri učencih šestega razreda osnovne šole. Izvedli smo kvantitativno raziskavo, kjer smo uporabili kavzalno eksperimentalno metodo dela. Oblikovali smo vprašalnik s preizkusom znanja. S vprašalnikom smo preverjali stališča (odnos) učencev do rastlin in znanje učencev o spolnem razmnoževanju rastlin.

Title:The effect of an experiential lessons on sixth grade student's knowledge and understanding of the sexual reproduction of plants
Abstract:
In this thesis has been observed how experiential learning affects the knowledge and the comprehension of sexual reproduction of plants in Sixth Grade students of Primary School. We have carried out a quantitative research in which we have used the cause/effect experiential method of work. We have drawn up a questionnaire with an examination. With this questionnaire we have tested the views (the attitudes) of the students towards plants and their knowledge about sexual reproduction of plants. The students have completed the questionnaire before and after the experimental work (experiential learning). With this research we have found that there are not present any differences in the knowledge of students before the lessons, and that there aren't also any differences between the knowledge of students who learn through traditional classes and between the knowledge of students who learn through experiential learning classes. Statistically significant differences emerged in their attitudes towards plants between boys and girls, before and after classes. Among the boys who have studied through traditional lessons there were no differences in their attitude towards plants before and after classes, whereas among boys who have studied through experiential learning emerged differences in their attitude towards plants. But as far as girls are concerned, the differences in their attitude emerged among those girls who have studied in traditional classes. There were no differences in the attitudes towards plants after the lessons according to the type of learning classes. With this research we succeeded in showing that experiential learning don't affects the students' knowledge (boys' and girls'). Differences appeared according to the type of lessons, there was more progress among boys and girls who have studied on the basis of the experiential learning.
