In this thesis, we explored the impact of postural and dynamic reflex integration on a child's development according to Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI®). Because the method has yet to be translated into Slovenian, this is a theoretical presentation using descriptive pedagogical research methods. We answered the following questions: Who developed this method? What on is the method based? Which aspects of a child's development do reflexes impact? What are the results of applying the method in special needs children? The answers were used to familiarize teachers with this method. Teachers that are looking to balance the neurological development and integrate primary movement patterns: reflexes, coordination and the tools for optimal functioning, development and learning abilities. We described reflexes using motor coordination and their role in a child's development and education. Accordingly, we also explored the development of the nervous system and the child's motor skills and the functions of the cerebral hemispheres.
