Arhitekturni in sepulkralni izdelki iz nabrežinskega apnenca v Sloveniji

V diplomski nalogi so zbrani doslej odkriti arhitekturni in sepulkralni izdelki iz nabrežinskega apnenca na območju Slovenije. Slednji so bili makroskopsko pregledani in določeni s strani geologa dr. Igorja Rižnarja. Kronološko sodijo v čas od 1. stol. pr. n. št. do konca 4. stol. n. št. Glede na formalne značilnosti so bile prepoznane serijske kamnoseške produkcije nagrobnikov, stel in sarkofagov v nabrežinskih kamnolomih.

• Title: Architectural and funerary products made of aurisina limestone in Slovenia

Abstract

In the thesis paper, there are collected so far discovered architectural and funerary products made of Aurisina limestone, in Slovenia. The latter were macroscopically inspected and characterized by geologist, dr. Igor Rižnar. Chronologically, they belong in the period from the first century BCE until the end of the forth century CE. According to their formal characteristics, there was a recognition of a series of stonecutting products of gravestones, stelae and sarcophagi in the Aurisina quarry.
