Abstract
Magistrsko delo v prvem delu podaja osnovne informacije o učbenikih in dodatnem učnem gradivu kot so slike, avdio in video posnetki. Vsi učbeniki morajo biti pred uporabo potrjeni, potrditev učbenika je normativni dokaz o ustreznosti učbenikov, šole pa so po zakonu dolžne uporabljati potrjene učbenike. V magistrskem delu je na kratko predstavljen Pravilnik o potrjevanju učbenikov in vsi potrebni postopki pri potrjevanju. Sledi opis katalogov potrjenih učbenikov in način oskrbe z učbeniki in delovnimi zvezki v osnovnih šolah, pri katerem pomembno vlogo igrajo tudi učitelji. Drugi del predstavlja raziskovalno delo, v katerem so po opisu namena raziskave in metode dela predstavljeni rezultati raziskave in primerjave potrjenih učbenikov za slovenski jezik za prvi, tretji, šesti in osmi oziroma deveti razred iz katalogov potrjenih učbenikov, za šolska leta 1987/88, 1997/98, 2007/08 in 2017/18 in intervjujev, ki so bili opravljeni z učiteljicami in učiteljem iz Osnovne šole Tržič.

Abstract:
The master thesis in the first part provides basic information about textbooks and additional learning materials, such as pictures, audio and video recordings. All textbooks must be approved by the state. Schools are obliged to use only approved textbooks. The master thesis shortly describes approval procedures. Further catalogues of approved textbooks and distribution of textbooks to primary schools are described and analysed. The second part analyses results of research on differences among approved textbooks for the Slovenian language for the first, third, sixth and eight or ninth grades for the school years 1987/88, 1997/98, 2007/08 and 2017/18. In the final part, teachers from primary school in Tržič are interviewed on how they decide which textbook to use and how they use them for teaching.
