Družinski arhiv kot izhodišče fotografskega raziskovanja

Diplomska naloga je raziskovalno delo s podroc?ja fotografije, sestavljeno iz teoretic?nega in praktic?nega dela. Ker me je zanimalo, kako sovrstnice gledajo na star fotografski druz?inski arhiv in predvsem na mater, preden je postala roditeljica, sem izvedla projekt, v katerega je bilo vkljuc?enih 75 deklet. V prvem delu diplomske naloge obravnavam medij fotografije s poudarkom na druz?inski fotografiji in druz?inskem albumu ter opis?em, kako se le-ta spreminja v digitalni dobi. Razloz?im pomen shranjevanja analognih in digitalnih fotografij, nato pa preidem na drugi del, v katerem razkrijem, zakaj sem se odloc?ila za dotic?no temo in kako sem se lotila praktic?nega dela. Sledi pojasnilo metode fotografskega raziskovanja in izseki iz pogovorov s sodelujoc?imi dekleti, ki dajo vpogled v moje raziskovalno delo. Zakljuc?ek dela predstavlja fotoknjiga z izbranimi fotografijami, na katerih so matere v obdobju mladostnis?tva. Namen praktic?nega dela je bil spodbuditi sodelujoc?a dekleta, da na drugac?en nac?in pogledajo fotografije svoje matere in jo tako spoznajo kot osebo, ki je ne zaznamuje stars?evska vloga. Konc?ni izdelek pa je nastal z z?eljo predstaviti pridobljene in urejene zasebne fotografije vec? druz?in, ki sem jih z izbranim pristopom pretvorila v novo obliko, s c?imer sem skus?ala prikazati z?ivljenje preteklih generacij.

• Title: Family archive as a starting point for photographic reserch

Abstract

The BA thesis is a research work in the field of photography, consisting of theoretical and practical work. Because I was interested in how compeers looked at the old photographic family archive and, above all, the mother before she became a parent, I started a project in which 75 girls were gathered. In the first part I discuss the medium of photography with an emphasis on family photography and a family album and describe how it changes in the digital age. I explain the importance of storing analog and digital photos and then I move on to the second part in which I reveal why I decided on the topic and how I started the research work for my project. The following is an explanation of the method of photographic research and the words of the participating daughters in the project which gave insight into my research work. The conclusion of the work is a photobook with selected photographs of mothers in adolescence. The purpose of the practical work is to encourage participating daughters to look at the photographs of their mothers in a different way and to get to know this person outside of her parental role. The final product was created with the desire to present acquired insight into the private photos of several families, which I will transform into a new form and in this way try to show the life of the past generations.
