Abstract
S pomočjo programov Adobe smo narisali ilustracije in ostale grafične elemente, določili postavitev elementov in izbrali ustrezno barvno paleto.

Title:Designing communication ads for a dance event
Abstract:
A striking, simple and memorable visual identity of the event, unity in design, and knowledge of the target group are crucial because they influence the recognizability of the event and increase advertising efficiency. The purpose of the diploma thesis is to create a visual identity of a dance event Dance till one (slo. Ples do enih) and apply it to a series of posters and other communication ads. The theoretical part explains the importance of colors, composition and typography, describes the characteristics of communication ads and emphasizes the importance of a quality graphic prepress for printing and web. At the end of the theoretical part, good practice in visual identity design of dance events is analyzed. The goals of the diploma thesis are the design of graphic elements and the design of letters for the title of the event. In the experimental part, we focused on the target group and consistency in the design of the visual identity. With the help of Adobe programs, we prepared illustrations and other graphic elements, defined the layout of the elements and selected the appropriate color palette. We have created a series of posters, tickets, banners for social media and a promotional flyer. Within the FontLab program we created the letters for the event »Ples do enih« and inserted them in the communication ads. An online survey was also conducted to verify the appropriateness of the designed visual identity and to discover how important seems to be unity in design for the audience. To conclude, we have managed to achieve the set goals, verify the hypotheses and form an appropriate and consistent visual identity of the dance event.
