Popotniška fotoknjiga po Kubi

Namen diplomskega dela je skozi popotniško fotografijo prikazati unikatnost Kube in Kubancev, ki so me navdušili na potovanju po otoku ter pokazati kakšno vlogo ima fotografija pri ustvarjanju slike neke države in prebivalcev, saj fotografija pove več kot tisoč besed. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz treh delov – teoretičnega dela, eksperimentalnega dela in razprave. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena fotografija, njen razvoj skozi obdobja in vloga, popotniška fotografija ter njeni predstavniki, primeri popotniške fotografije in Kuba ter njena zgodovina. V eksperimentalnem delu je predstavljena oprema, s katero so bile fotografije na potovanju posnete, programi uporabljeni za obdelavo in urejanje fotografij. Predstavljen je plan našega potovanja in na koncu izdelava fotoknjige. V razpravi so predstavljene moje popotniške fotografije po krajih in ne po kronološkem zaporedju, kot so predstavljeni v fotoknjigi ter moje mnenje o videnem. Predstavljena je tudi fotoknjiga, njen videz in dizajn. Priloga diplomi je popotniška fotoknjiga Kube.

• Title: Travel photobook of Cuba

Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is to show the uniqueness of Cuba and Cubans, who impressed me during my travel on the island. The aim is also to show the reader the role of the photography in creating the bigger picture of one country and its locals. After all, photography means more than thousand words. The thesis is divided into three parts – the theoretical part, the practical part and the discussion. The theoretical part is about photography, its evolution throughout history, the role of the photography, travel photography and its main representatives, some examples of travel photography and in the end Cuba with its history. The practical part introduces the equipment used to take photos during traveling, programs used for improving the photos. The traveling plan is introduced and also how the photo book was made. In the discussion, my travel photographs of Cuba are presented – not chronologically as in the photo book, but each place separately with my view of the photograph. The photo book and its design are also introduced, since I have made it myself. Appendix to the diploma is the travel photo book of Cuba.
