Abstract

Title:HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING AND OPTIMAL RECOVERY
Abstract:
In sports practice, until now, the emphasis was mainly on methods of training, but the aspect of recovery and / or regeneration was neglected, which is still one of the less explored areas of sports. In methods, recent positive effects of high intensity training have been emphasized, with which we can influence the various energy adaptations of the organism. In doing so, regeneration is all the more important. The aim of this study was therefore to determine the effect of high intensity exercise on the organism and which regeneration methods make it possible to optimally restore it after an effort. We examined the PubMed, SPORTDiscus and BioMed Central databases according to the previously defined criteria. Research shows that high intensity training is effective in reducing fat mass, as well as improving some of the motor skills and abilities of the nervous-muscular system. In terms of optimum recovery, research suggests that certain techniques, such as stretching and foam rolling, have a different effect on the nervous-muscular system when performed before, during or after exercise. Therefore, the technician should work systematically and think carefully about which technique to use and when it is the right time to use it.
