Abstract
Diplomsko delo opisuje delovanje in program ekstruderja, katerega krmilni sistem se je prenavljal v sklopu projekta v podjetju INEA. Ekstruder je stroj, ki združuje tako sekvenčne kot regulacijske procese. Rezultat teh procesov je obdelava plastike v produkt, ki je v tem primeru neprekinjen trak variabilnih dimenzij. Podrobneje so opisani deli programa za katere sem bil osebno zadolžen. Sam program se deli na dva dela: program programirljivega logičnega krmilnika ter program vmesnika človek-stroj. Oba sta napisana s programskim orodjem Siemens TIA Portal v14. Prvi del naloge je posvečen opisu stroja, sestavnih naprav in sekvence zagona. Nato sledi še opis samega programa in njegove strukture, ki je v večini napisan v lestvičnem diagramu z izjemo določenih delov napisanih v strukturiranem tekstu. Na koncu pa je predstavljena funkcionalnost vmesnika človek-stroj.

Title:Revamping of the control system for the extrusion process
Abstract:
The thesis describes operation and program of an extruder machine, whose control system was renovated within the scope of a project in the INEA company. Extruder is a machine which combines sequential and continuous processes. The result of those is processing of plastics into a product, which is in this case a continuous sheet of variable dimensions. Parts of the project, which were under my responsibility, are described in greater detail. The program itself is split into two parts: a program of programmable logic controller and a program of the human-machine interface. Both are written in Siemens TIA Portal v14 programming tool. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the description of the machine, its devices and starting sequence. Next, description of the program and it’s structure, which is for the most part written in ladder logic with some exceptions in structured text, is given. In the end, a description of functionality of the human-machine interface is given.
