Abstract

Title:
Smart contracts as a tool for enforcing judgements
Abstract:
The master’s thesis explores the possibility of smart judgements, which are, for the purpose of this thesis, self-executing judgements based on the technology of smart contracts. First part of the thesis contains an overview of technology that enabled the development of smart contracts, second part describes smart contracts, their characteristics and their current position within the legal system. Finally, the thesis proposes the idea of smart judgements and analyses whether such solution is acceptable under the existing principles of enforcement law.
