Abstract
Uporabljene so metoda analize, primerjalna metoda in statistična metoda.

Title:EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND SATISFACTION IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR
Abstract:
Employee engagement and satisfaction are important factors in achieving the goals of the organization. Every employee should be satisfied with the situation and with the conditions in organization, because they will consequently also be more engaged to work. Thesis wants to warn on the factors that have influence on employee engagement and satisfaction, and also propose solutions to increase the level of employee engagement and employee satisfaction. The goal of the thesis is to analyse and compare the employee engagement and satisfaction between the public and the private sector, to find out which factors are the most problematic in the particular sector and with which the employees are most satisfied. I would like to analyse whether private sector employees are more engaged and satisfied than public sector employees. I used the comparative method and the statistical method for analyse. The usefulness of the degree is mainly reflected in the knowledge of the factors that influence on employees. The survey has shown that employees in public sector are more engaged and satisfied than employees in private sector, because they have a better salary, working conditions, working hours, relationship with superiors, better communication, etc., and they are happy, satisfied and they proudly say where they work. The results can help organizations to inform them with the factors that make employees unhappy and what contributes to low engagement in the organization. Organizations should take into account the opinions of employees and try to improve the problems that cause dissatisfaction.
