The master's thesis is an own action research in the field of Op-art. Theoretical part of the task will be the transition from art to visual. I compare everyday visual thinking with artistic productive thinking and define the concepts of percepcion, perceptible space and vision. I briefly summarize the development of Op-art, from abstract art to geometric abstraction. Furthermore I present the art principels of Op-art – line, light – dark and color. I analyse the concept of space in detail – perceptible, physical and mental space, and above all, art and image space. I highlight the main features of the action research. The empirical part will be my own action research, in which I present the works of art created in this research. In addition, I will state and briefly present the various authors that I think have influenced my work or have dealt with a similar problem, witouth which there is almost no go, and need to be mentioned when we explore optical arts.
