The purpose of diploma was to research satisfaction of employees in company. In theoretical part are described factors of satisfaction, ways of motivation, why is emotional intelligence important, how to successfully communicate, and how groups should work together.. Every company should add those factors in their leadership, beacuse this is the only way for better, quality work and results.
It was interesting that different authors that we used in diploma as a source, had different definitions for successful employee; mostly it was written, that employee should be always on the first place, and to motivate them not only with the salary that most of us would thing, but with the way of communication, respect, praise, assignment of responsibility, co-determination, and other factors that would give employee feeling that they belong to the company and that they are the reason for successful company.
In experimental part are introduced results in graphs, with explanation. The experimental part was finished in commercial company. With collaboration with manager there was made a survey that was sent to offices in Savinjska valley and some offices in Maribor. Surveys were printed by managers , distributed to employees, and sent back. All analysis were made with statistical program named SPSS, which was made especially for statistical data proccesing.
It was found out that employees are satisfied with most of the factors. Those are communication, safety, relationships etc. Results were different considering age group, years in company (employment), kind of employment, gender, and workplace. It turned out that praise motivatate employees, but they don't get it very often.
Satisfied and successful individual will contribute to the company the most that she or he can. They will be more successful at their job, and outside of job as well.
