Multikulturalizem; Odnos prebivalcev Dobove do beguncev, nastanjenih v begunskem centru Dobova

Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na integracijski model multikulturne politike, odnos prebivalcev Dobove in Rigonc do beguncev in sprememb, ki jih je prihod beguncev jeseni leta 2015 prinesel v njihova življenja. V nalogi ugotavljam, ali se Dobovčani in Rigončani strinjajo z načeli multikulturne politike, kako se je njihovo življenje po prihodu beguncev spremenilo in ali so spremembe vplivale na njihov odnos do beguncev, če so bili do beguncev nestrpni ter vzroke za nestrpnost. Metoda preučevanja je kvalitativno raziskovanje. Opravila sem petnajst polstrukturiranih intervjujev z intervjuvanci iz Dobove in Rigonc, ki so bili stari med 25 in 65 let. Rezultati analize so pokazali, da se je življenje vseh intervjuvancev po prihodu beguncev spremenilo. Spremembe so v nekaterih primerih neposredno vplivale na nestrpnost intervju-vancev, ki temelji na vzpostavljanju nacionalne identitete v odnosu do beguncev – "njih".

• Title: Multiculturalism; The attitude of the inhabitants of Dobova towards the refugees residing in the Dobova refugee center

Abstract

The following graduation thesis focuses on the integration model of multicultural politics, the relationship between the inhabitants of Dobova and Rigonce towards refugees and the chan-ges that were brought in autum of 2015, with the arrival of refugees, to the lives of inhabitans of Dobova and Rigonce. In the task, I determine whether the inhabitans of Dobova and Rigonca agree with the principles of multicultural politics, how their lives changed after the arrival of refugees, whether the changes influenced their attitude towards refugees, if they were intolerant to the refugees and the causes of intolerance. The method of study is qualitative research. I did fifteen half-structured interviews with interviewees from Dobova and Rigonc, who were between 25 and 65 years old. The results of the analysis showed that the life of all interviewees changed after the arrival of refugees. In some cases, the changes directly influenced the intolerance of interviewees based on the establishment of a national identity in relation to refugees - "them".
