"Ljubezen, fantazija" Assie Djebar kot postkolonialni roman : diplomsko delo

Roman "Ljubezen, fantazija" avtorice Assie Djebar je v diplomskem delu obravnavan kot delo postkolonialne književnosti, saj lahko v njem opazimo značilnosti, ki jih v svojih delih med drugim opisujejo postkolonialni teoretiki in teoretičarke. V grobem lahko te značilnosti v romanu določimo kot: kritika in poskus prenove zgodovinopisja, ki priča o obdobju kolonizacije, problematiziranje z uporabo kolonizatorjevega jezika ter razdvojenost med dva jezika in kulturi (oziroma več) ter nazadnje feministična kritika zgodovinopisja in poskus uveljavitve ženskih likov kot samostojnih zgodovinskih subjektov.

Abstract

In this thesis, the novel "Love, fantasy" from Assia Djebar will be analysed as a work of postcolonial literature, because we can recognise certain features in it that are, among others, mentioned and described in the works of postcolonial theoreticians. Roughly, those features in the novel can be defined as: the critique of and an attempt to reform the historiography which represents the period of colonisation, the problematisation of use of the coloniser's language and the division between two languages and cultures (or more), and, lastly, a feminist critique of the historiography and an attempt of restoration of women's characters as autonomous historical subjects.
