Abstract
V magistrskem delu skozi študijo primera prikažem pristop k reševanju šolskega osipa na Danskem. V teoretičnem delu opišem obdobje mladostništva in njegove razvojne naloge ter prehod v odraslo dobo. Razvojno obdobje je socialna kategorija, zato opišem današnjo družbo in kako je mladostnik umeščen vanjo. Utemeljim koncept podaljševanja mladostništva in problematiko predčasnega izstopa iz procesa izobraževanja. Raziščem problem »osipništva«, ki nastane, ko mladostnik predčasno prekine oziroma izstopi iz edukacijske poti, ker ne želi, a praviloma ne zmore dokončati vpisanega izobraževalnega programa. Pogosto nekateri mladostniki po dokončanem obveznem izobraževanju preprosto ne vedo, kako in kje bi nadaljevali izobraževanje. Takšna skupina mladostnikov spada med socialno ranljive mlade, ki so nemalokrat potisnjeni na rob družbe. Opišem pristope podpore za mlade osipnike v Sloveniji in natančneje osvetlim program PUM oziroma PUM-O. Nadalje prikažem danske pristope k problemu osipništva in podrobneje predstavim MultiCenter Syd, produkcijsko šolo, ki predstavlja primer dobre prakse na tem področju. V empiričnem delu predstavim omenjeno dansko produkcijsko šolo, kjer sem v vlogi asistentke profesorice na kreativnem oddelku štiri mesece nabirala praktične izkušnje. S pomočjo polstrukturiranih intervjujev raziščem doživljanja mladostnikov, ki so vključeni v program produkcijske šole, in izkušnje ter ocene zaposlenih MultiCentra Syd. Podatke kvalitativno obdelam in sistematično predstavim odgovore na raziskovalna vprašanja, kar sproti dopolnjujem s svojimi izkušnjami v vlogi tuje študentke in asistentke učiteljice med mladostniki. Izkaže se, da mladi pozitivno doživljajo izkušnjo obiskovanja produkcijske šole in bi jo priporočali tudi ostalim mladostnikom, ki so se nekako izgubili na svoji poti. Glavno sporočilo zaposlenih intervjuvancev, ki temelji na njihovih delovnih izkušnjah, je, da je produkcija pravi način za usmerjanje mladih, ki so negotovi in ne vedo, kakšen bi bil njihov naslednji korak na področju kariere. V zadnjem delu magistrske naloge sem po lastni presoji na osnovi spoznanj in izkušenj z danskim modelom ter bolj oddaljenim poznavanjem programa PUM/PUM-O določila kriterije primerjav in nato po zbranih podatkih oblikovala vzporednice med obema programoma, ki se ukvarjata z mladimi osipniki.

Title:Approach to early school leaving – the case of Denmark
Abstract:
This masters work is about case study which’s theme is solving the problem of school dropouts in Danish school system. The theoretical part contains information about adolescence and its development process from young age till grownups. Development period is a social category that is why it is necessary to describe society and the role of an adolescent in it. I explain the concept of lengthening adolescence and the problem of premature education dropout. I explore the problem of dropouts, which appears when adolescent prematurely drops out of school. Often some adolescents, after finished obligatory education, don’t know how or where to continue education. Such group of adolescents is socially vulnerable and many times pushed to the edge of society. I describe supporting approaches for young dropouts in Slovenia and elaborate PUM/PUM-O program. Further I present Danish approaches to solving dropout problems and MultiCenter Syd, a production school, which represents a good practice on this field. In empirical part I describe the MultiCenter Syd in detail, where I was gaining experience as an assistant teacher on creative section for four months. With the help of interviews I explore teachers and adolescents experiences and evaluations, that are involved in the prodaction school of MultiCenter Syd. Gained data is qualitatively processed, systematically presented and filled with my experiences as a foreign student and an assistant. Data shows that adolescents positively experience MultiCenter Syd programs and would also recommend it to other adolescents, who somehow lost their educational way. The main message of interviewed teachers, based on their experiences, is that the production is the right way to guide adolescents who are uncertain about their next step in making their carrier. In the last part, based on my own estimation and experiences with Danish model and less known PUM/PUM-O program, I have determined criteria of comparison and similarity between both programs, which deal with dropouts.
