Abstract
Pospešen razvoj tehnologije vpliva na sodobno družbo. Spreminjati se je začel tudi šolski sistem in način poučevanja. Računalništvo je eno tistih šolskih področjih, ki se korenito spreminja in razvija ter od učitelja zahteva prilagajanje novim tehnološkim napredkom. V diplomskem delu smo se ukvarjali z raziskovanjem uporabe LEGO Mindstorms robotov pri poučevanju računalništva v slovenskih osnovnih šolah. Zanimalo nas je, kako učitelji računalništva in tisti, ki poučujejo računalništvo, ocenjujejo svoje kompetence na področju poučevanja z uporabo LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotov, katerim učnim smernicam sledijo učitelji pri poučevanju fizičnega računalništva z uporabo LEGO Mindstorms EV3 in katere učne pripomočke in gradiva pri tem uporabljajo ter v kolikšni meri lahko po mnenju učiteljev z uporabo LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotov pri učencih uresničujemo in udejanjamo učne cilje programiranja pri računalniških predmetih v osnovni šoli. V teoretičnem delu smo opisali pojma računalniško mišljenje in fizično računalništvo v povezavi z omenjenim učnim pripomočkom, analizirali smo aktualne priročnike za uporabo LEGO Mindstorms robotov. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili odgovore učiteljev o njihovi izkušnji uporabe LEGO Mindstorms robotov pri poučevanju računalništva in drugih predmetov.

Title:The usage of LEGO Mindstorms ev3 robots at teaching physical computing in slovene primary school
Abstract:
Rapid development of technology affects the society, the school system as well as teaching methods. Computer science is one of those school areas that is radically changing and developing, and requires the teachers to adapt to new technological advances. In the thesis, we researched the use of LEGO Mindstorms robots in computer science teaching in Slovene primary schools. We were interested in how computer science teachers and those who teach computer science evaluate their teaching competencies using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots, which instructional guidelines are followed by the teachers in teaching physical computing using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and which teaching aids and materials are used, and to what extent, in the opinion of the teachers, using the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots with pupils, we can realize and implement the learning objectives for programming in computer courses in primary schools. In the theoretical part we described the concepts of computational thinking and physical computing in connection with the aforementioned learning aids, and we analyzed the current manuals for the use of LEGO Mindstorms robots. In the empirical part we presented teachers' experience using LEGO Mindstorms robots in teaching computer science and other subjects.
