This dissertation, called “The discussion on chosen fairy tales of Rezija” from the book collection “Zverinice iz Rezije”, consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, childs speaking-linguistic development, the development of its pre-reading and pre-writing literacy, didactics of literature in school and literary education in kindergarten is presented. Everything listed here serves as a theoretical base for a quality discussion on books in kindergarten. What follows is a presentation of Rezija, active cultural society and the language that people of Rezija speak as a literarary micro-language of Slovenian language. Short presentation of author Milko Matičetov, the successor of the tradition Anja Stefan and the illustrator Ancka Gosnik Godec. In the empirical part the basic discussion on chosen fairy tales of Rezija: Grdina in Rusica, Kako so volku ostrigli brke and Tri botre Lisičice, is described. The activites consist of the geographical positioning of Rezija, the art representation of Grdinice, tea party on the subject of foxes and getting to know the words of Rezija. Hence, the discussion on chosen fairy tales of Rezija serves as a good cue for intercultural education and research on cultural heritage.
