Abstract
V magistrskem delu je predmet obravnave obdobje svetovne književnosti v drugi polovici 20. stoletja v učnih načrtih in učnih sredstvih za pouk književnosti v gimnaziji. Delo prikazuje, v kolikšni meri je književnost omenjenega obdobja vključena v posodobljeni učni načrt za slovenščino v gimnaziji (2008) in v učna sredstva, ki so namenjena poučevanju in učenju književnosti v gimnaziji. V delu je prikazano tudi zgodovinsko ozadje samega obdobja, ki ga je ključno zaznamovala druga svetovna vojna ter literarne smeri, ki so se razvile oziroma prevladovale v tem času. V drugem delu so, izhajajoč iz ugotovitev o vključenosti besedil v obravnavan vsebinski sklop, predstavljene značilnosti učnega načrta, in sicer pomanjkanje ženskih avtoric, manjši delež dramatike v primerjavi z liriko in pripovedništvom ter nevključenost avtorjev in avtoric iz nezahodnega sveta in t. i. malih literatur. Vključeni so tudi predlogi, s katerimi bi lahko odpravili navedene značilnosti, eno od predlaganih besedil pa je bilo predstavljeno pri učni uri književnosti v gimnaziji.

Abstract:
In this master's thesis the subject of discussion is world literature of the second half of the 20. century in school curriculum, learning resources and in literature classes in grammar schools. Thesis shows to which extent the literature of the mentioned time is included in the revised school curriculum for Slovene language class in gymnasiums (in 2008) and how much is included in the learning resources, which are used for teaching literature in gymnasiums. I'll also touch on the historic background of the era, which was marked by the World War II, as well as the art movements, which have evolved or prevailed in that time. In the second part of this thesis I've pointed out the shortcomings of the school curriculum, based on the findings of the inclusion in the substantive block. The shortcomings being the lack of female writers, lack of dramatics compared to the poetry and storytelling, as well as deficiency of non-western world authors. Thesis presents proposals, which should correct the shortcomings. One of the proposed texts have also been used in a classroom at the gymnasium.
