Abstract
Podobno kot drugje na svetu tudi v slovenskih organizacijah dozoreva spoznanje, da so za dobro in uspešno delo potrebni zavzeti in zadovoljni zaposleni. V tem okviru sem želela v diplomskem delu proučiti odnos med zadovoljstvom in zavzetostjo. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge sem v literaturi pregledala opredelitve in obravnavo obeh konceptov. Preučila sem dejavnike, ki vplivajo na zavzetost in zadovoljstvo na delovnem mestu, ter načine njihovega merjenja. V empiričnem delu sem predstavila lastno raziskavo o merjenju zavzetosti in zadovoljstva zaposlenih v izbrani organizaciji. Za merjenje zavzetosti sem uporabila standardizirana vprašanja Q12, za merjenje zadovoljstva pa standardizirana vprašanja SiOK. Zaradi velikih razlik med zaposlenimi sem analize opravila ločeno za bele in modre ovratnike. Za vsako skupino sem preverila, koliko se zavzetost in zadovoljstvo prekrivata in dopolnjujeta.

Title:Engagement and satisfaction of employees: case study
Abstract:
Like elsewhere in the world, also Slovenian organizations are coming of age recognizing, that for good and successful work engaged and satisfied employees are necessary. In this context, I wanted to examine the relationship between satisfaction and engagement in this diploma thesis. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis I review the literature about the definition and the treatment of two concepts. I examined the factors that influence engagement and job satisfaction in the workplace, and the methods of their measurement. In empirical part I presented my own research about the measurement of engagement and satisfaction of employees in the selected organization. For the measurement of the engagement I applied standardized Q12 questions, to measure satisfaction I applied standardized SiOK questions. Due to the large differences between employees I performed separate analysis for white and blue collars. For each group, I checked how much engagement and satisfaction overlap and complement each other.
