Abstract

Title:
Septoku
Abstract:
Septoku is one of the versions of a popular game sudoku. It was invented by Bruce Oberg in 2006. Septoku is played on a hexagonal grid. The grid consists of 37 hexagonal cells. The player puts numbers from 1 to 7 into these cells. We show that there are six different solutions possible up to reflections, rotations and number permutations. We also show that six is the minimum number of given numbers which (in some cases) ensures a unique solution.
