Slikanica o iskanju pomena prijateljstva

V diplomskem delu na podlagi strokovne literature in analize izbranih del določimo načine sodelovanja med besedilom in ilustracijo v slikanicah ter izberemo primernega za zgodbo v Miškinih belih nočeh avtorja Padraica Calpina in njeno ciljno publiko otrok od tretjega do šestega leta starosti. V besednem delu izbranih slikanic za analizo opazujemo tudi pripovedovalca in fokalizatorja ter določimo kakšen vpliv ima na njiju ilustracija. V praktičnem delu na podlagi raziskanega opišemo postopek oblikovanja zgodborisa in pojasnimo izbiro likovne tehnike ilustracij. Opišemo tudi izbrano črkovno vrsto in določimo vezavo knjige.

• Title: A picture book about the search of the significance of friendship

Abstract

This thesis observes and analyses a selection of picture books that helps us define various types of interaction between text and picture in children’s picture books. Among the described methods we choose the most appropriate one for the illustration of Padraic Calpin’s story Another night awake, suitable for 3–6-year-olds. In the picture books selected for analyses we observe the types of narration and focalisation in the text and determine how illustration interacts with it. The second part of the paper focuses on the illustration and design of our picture book. We describe how we made the storyboard, designed the characters and explain the techniques used for the final illustrations. We also touch upon the typeface used in the book, as well as its visual image (covers, binding).
