Reinterpretacija tradicionalne Libojske keramike

V svojem diplomskem delu sem se osredotočila na raziskovanje Keramične industrije Liboje ter njeno vlogo pri ohranjanju kulturne dediščine. Raziskovala sem, kako ohraniti in prilagoditi tradicijo novim zahtevam sodobnih potrošnikov, saj se s tem prenaša pomembno izročilo naslednjim generacijam. Inspiracijska podlaga diplomske naloge je neokrnjena narava doline Trente, kjer me je navdušila povezanost ljudi in njihova skrb za ohranjanje svoje kulture. Prepoznavno Libojsko keramiko sem z reinterpretacijo umestila v območje Trente ter jo z imitiranjem narave poskušala približala trentarskim ljudem. Pomemben del diplomske naloge vključuje tudi raziskovanje uporabe teksture z drugačim, sodobnim pristopom in izgledom. Zaključni izdelek predstavlja keramični jedilni set, ki temelji na zgodovini slovenske keramike, kljub temu pa je s prepoznavnimi elementi Soške doline prilagojen točno določeni pokrajini ? Trenti.

• Title: Reinterpretation of the traditional Liboje ceramics

Abstract

This thesis is focused on the research of ceramic industry Liboje and its role in preserving cultural heritage. The research shows how to maintain and adapt tradition to the new demands of modern consumers, because it carries an important heritage for the next generations. The inspiration is based on untouched nature of Trenta valley. I was impressed by people’s relationships and their efforts to preserve their culture. Reinterpretation is used to place recognizable ceramics of Liboje into the area of Trenta and by imitating nature I tried to bring it closer to the people of Trenta. An important part of the thesis includes exploration of textures use in connection with different, modern approach and outlook. The final product represents a ceramic ware set, based on the history of Slovenian ceramics. It obtains distinctive elements of Soča Valley adopted to the specific region of Trenta.
