Abstract
V diplomski nalogi opredelimo trenutno stanje majhnega dela globalne delovne sile, ki z miselnimi zmožnostmi manipulira abstraktne znake. Pokazati in razložiti želimo, da današnje organizacije, z normativnimi praksami nadzora, vzgajajo nove in drugačne posameznike, ki jih bomo webrovsko imenovali “strokovnjaki z duhom in užitkarji s srcem”. Pokažemo, s kakšnimi mehanizmi management vzgaja zaposlene preko inkorporacije psiholoških idealov liberalizma. Glavna ugotovitev diplomskega dela je, da na makro nivoju soobstajata dve kletki v tandemu, tako Webrova železna kletka birokratskega nadzora in racionalizacije, kot kletka iz kulturnega materiala, ki jo proizvajajo nove prakse managementa, ki stremijo k neformalnosti, s pomočjo regulacije identitete.

Title:Specialists with spirit, consensualists with heart
Abstract:
The main aim of the thesis is to define current situation of the small proportion of the global workforce which manipulates abstract signs, by using structural-individualistic approach which was introduced by american sociologist James Coleman and takes into account individual and structures and their interdependence. We explain how today’s organizations by using normative control mechanisms produce specialists with spirit and consensualists with heart, who love what they do, are fully engaged and never alienated. We show which mechanisms manangement uses to make workers as they wish and what consequences this has on structural basis. Main finding of our study is, that on macro level, there are two cages in tandem, one bueraucratic, iron cage that derives from rationalization, and another, new one, from cultural material, which is produced under normative control.
