Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo se posvetili razvoju prototipa platforme za storitveno dejavnost namenjeno predvsem za uporabo v gostinstvu (bari, restavracije, picerije) in majhnim storitvenim podjetjem (fitnes centri, frizerski saloni, avtoprevozniki). Platforma je na voljo kot storitev (ang. Platform as a service), kar podjetjem še bolj poenostavi njen sprejem. Platformo smo razdelili na spletno aplikacijo, mobilno aplikacijo in zaledje. V spletni aplikaciji lahko lastnik storitvene dejavnosti ustvari svojo ponudbo, medtem ko z uporabo mobilne aplikacije lahko zaposleni na hiter, učinkovit ter enostaven način izdela in natisne račun z uporabo Bluetooth termičnega tiskalnika. Zaledje pa skrbi za komunikacijo in pravilno delovanje obeh delov platforme.

Title:Prototype of platform for POS system for restaurants
Abstract:
In the diploma thesis, we developed a prototype of a platform intended primarily for use in catering (bars, restaurants, pizzerias) and small sized enterprises (fitness centers, hairdressers, hauliers). The platform is available as a service (PaaS), which makes it even easier for businesses to adopt. We have divided the platform into three parts: web application, mobile application and backend. A business owner can use the web application to create his own offer whereas an employee can use the mobile application to create and print an invoice in a quick, easy and efficient way. The backend is responsible for the communication and proper functioning of both parts of the platform.
