Abstract
Uporabniški vmesnik (UV) je pri vsakem sistemu zelo pomemben člen, bodisi na vgrajenih sistemih (bela tehnika, gospodinjski aparati, itd.) ali na višje nivojskih sistemih (osebni računalniki, mobilni telefoni, itd.), še posebej tistih, katerih končni uporabniki so fizični potrošniki. Omogoča nam interakcijo med računalnikom oziroma napravo. Celotna diplomska naloga predstavlja razvoj programske opreme za grafični prikaz vsebine, osnovno povezovanje posameznih programskih modulov ter priprava podatkov. Glavni del je sestavljen iz 11 podpoglavij, v katerih je nekaj splošnega o uporabniških vmesnikih in zgodovini. V nadaljevanju sledi opis strojne opreme elektronike in programsko okolje za delo na projektu. Naprej sledi opis načina pošiljanja dogodkov med funkcijami ter povezovanje programskih gradnikov. Nato sledi osnovni zagon in nastavitve mikroprocesorja. V naslednjem podpoglavju je opisan razvoj gonilnika zaslona in opis osnovnih funkcij za komunikacijo med krmilnikom zaslona in glavnim mikroprocesorjem. V nadaljevanju sledijo funkcije za izris osnovnih grafičnih elementov. Nato nekaj o pisavah (ang. fonts), pretvorba znakov v binarne zbirke in kodiranja znakov. V zadnjih dveh podpoglavij je pa opisana organizacija zunanjega bliskovnega spomina (ang. FLASH memory) in opis funkcij za izris same vsebine.

Title:Multi Purpose Graphic Library
Abstract:
User interface is one of the most important part for any system, either on embedded systems (white goods, household appliances, etc.) or on higher level systems (personal computers, mobile phones, etc.), especially those whose end users are physical consumers. It allows us to interact with a computer or machine. In this thesis is described the development of software for the graphical display of content, the basic connection of individual software modules and the preparation of data for writing. The main part consists of 11 sub-sections, firstly with some general information about user interfaces and history. Then there is described electronics hardware and software environment for project. Next follows the description of sending events between functions and the linking of program blocks. Then there is description of the basic startup and settings of the microprocessor. The following subsection describes the development of the screen driver and a description of the basic functions for communicating between the screen controller and the main microprocessor. Below are the functions for plotting basic graphic elements. Then there is some basic information about fonts, conversion of characters into binary collections and character encoding. The last two subchapters describe the organization of an external flash memory and a description of the features for displaying the content itself.
