Abstract
V nalogi je obravnavan koncept delovanja sistema za zaznavanje mrtvega kota. Predstavljena so brezdotična zaznavala, kot na primer radar in IR zaznavala. Predstavljene so različne metode za merjenje razdalje in hitrosti, uporabljene v brezdotičnih zaznavalih. Opisan je eksperiment, s katerim smo preverili karakteristike prototipnega merilnega sistema. Predstavljen je osnovni algoritem za zaznavanje objekta v mrtvem kotu vozila.

Title:Measurement of distanc and velocity of objects in a vehicles blind spot
Abstract:
In this final thesis is presented the proof of concept for a blind spot detection system. We have described non-contact distance measurement sensors such as radar and IR sensors. In addition we have broken down different methods for distance and velocity measurements, used in non-contact sensors. Finally, we have described an experiment for testing characteristics of prototype measurement system and presented a basic alghoritm for detection of vehicle in blind spot.
