Abstract
V praktičnem delu sem se ukvarjala z razvojem krojev in izvedbo sodobne minimalistične ženske kolekcije, nadgrajene z izbranimi ročnimi tehnikami in novimi tehnologijami.

Title:Women's Collection Inspired by Macrame, Embroidery and Print
Abstract:
The purpose of the thesis was designing a wearable women’s collection inspired by different handcrafting techniques and new technologies. I sought inspiration in a combination of various techniques, such as macramé, embroidery, screen printing and new digital printing technology. The theoretical part focuses on the history of use and development of the chosen handcrafting techniques and technologies, followed by an explanation of their use in fashion today. It continues with a presentation of my secondary inspiration, Tracie Cheng and her work. In the experimental part I focused on the development of patterns and cuts for a minimalistic women’s collection upgraded with the chosen handcrafting techniques and new technologies. The collection is based on a color palette from one of Tracie Cheng’s paintings. I also experimented with transitions of line patterns to achieve as much fluidity and volume as possible. I upgraded the fashion collection with a lookbook video and fashion photoshoot. The objective of this thesis was to design a wearable women’s collection based on handcrafting techniques and new technologies and to show their collaboration with a minimalist style. I upgraded the thesis with a lookbook video.
