Oblikovanje ženske kolekcije Lapsus

Namen diplomskega dela je bil oblikovati ženski kolekciji z izhodiščem v moški modi, dekonstrukciji in ročnih tehnikah, ter predstaviti kolekciji skozi modni editorial. Diplomska naloga zajema oblikovanje in izvedbo dveh ženskih kolekcij, Inception in Lapsus, s poudarkom na drugi kolekciji. Moda je danes močno prisotna na ulicah vseh mest, na katerih se vsak posameznik s svojo podobo drugim predstavlja kot individualno, samostojno in ustvarjalno bitje. Ženske se pri tem ne bojimo več poseči po moški garderobi, še več, prav z moškimi oblačilnimi kosi sporočamo, da smo ženske na vseh ravneh lahko enakovredne moškim. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljene ročne tehnike, med katere sodi tkanje, beading (šivanje perlic) in pletenje oziroma prepletanje. Predstavljen je njihov pomen in prisotnost v oblačilih visoke mode. Teoretični del vključuje pomen dekonstrukcije v modi, njene začetke in razvoj. Podrobneje so predstavljeni oblikovalci, ki so s svojim delom v modi naredili prostor pojmu dekonstrukcije. Prav tako zajema pomen t.i. gender benderja, ali poslovenjeno definiranja spolne identitete, v modnem svetu. Ta je danes še posebno aktualen tako v visoki kot v ulični modi. Predstavljen je tudi pomen androgenosti, ki se čedalje bolj pojavlja v modnem svetu in tudi nasploh. Praktični del vključuje oblikovanje in realizacijo dveh kolekcij. Prva, imenovana Inception, ki zajema pet ženskih silhuet in druga, imenovana Lapsus, ki prav tako zajema pet ženskih silhuet. Predstavljeni so: zasnova kolekcije z izhodiščem, tehnike, ciljna skupina, barvna paleta, materiali, skice in tehnične skice posameznih oblačil. Praktični del naloge vključuje koncept in tudi izvedbo treh modnih editorialov; Inception, //She in Lapsus, ki nam vsak na svoj način dovoljujejo videti koncept kolekcij še nekoliko drugače. Končni rezultat dela sta torej dve ženski kolekciji modnih oblačil, imenovani Inception in Lapsus, predstavljeni v treh modnih editorialih.

• Title: Designing womanswear collection Lapsus

Abstract

The purpose of the thesis was designing a womenswear collection inspired by menswear, deconstruction and hand techniques and to present the collection through fashion editorials. Fashion today is strongly present in form of streetwear where everyone wants to stand out and present themselves as strong, creative individuals, especially women who are often confidant enough to also use menswear pieces to achieve that. In the theoretical part of the thesis I will be presenting hand technologies like beading and weaving and their presence in high fashion clothing as well as the presence and use of deconstruction in fashion design and highlighting some main designers who use the above elements in their work, I will also be presenting the element of gender bending and androginy which in fashion and how designers and artists use it as a form of expression on the runway and fashion editorials. In the experimental part of the thesis I will be presenting the design process of the collection: the concept of the collection with the inspirations, the target group of women, colour pallete, illustrations of each look and the techniques and materials used to create the colelction. I will also be presenting the concept of 3 editorials, which in their own way present us a unique interpetation of the collection So in conclusion the end result is a womenswear collection named Lapsus, presented in three fashion editorials.
