Abstract
Zaključna naloga obravnava tematiko razžveplanja dimnih plinov iz velikih kurilnih naprav. Glavna tematika je primerjava razžveplanja z mokrim kalcitnim postopkom in razžveplanjem z morsko vodo. Analizirano je, ali je na obmorskih lokacijah čiščenje dimnih plinov možno izvajati z morsko vodo in kakšen vpliv ima na okolje. V nalogi so predstavljene različne tehnologije čiščenja dimnih plinov in kakšna je zakonodaja Evropske Unije v primeru izpustov in emisij iz termoelektrarn.

Title:Flue gas desulphurisation of large combustion plants in coastal locations
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the topic of flue gas desulphurization from large combustion plants. The main topic is to compare wet calcite desulphurization and seawater desulphurization. It analyzes whether flue gas cleaning can be carried out with seawater in coastal locations and the impact it exerts on the environment. The project presents various technologies for flue gas cleaning and some EU legislation in the case of discharges and emissions from thermal power plants.
