This master thesis discusses an impact of the anti-corrosive protection on dynamically loaded high-strength steel. The main types of corrosion, its effects, and most common anti-corrosive protection of steel in the automotive industry are described. The main objective was to see if the zinc-nickel electrodeposited coating and the cataphoresis coating affect the dynamically loaded welded specimens. The conclusion was that there is an effect of the zinc-nickel coating, however, the cataphoretic coating has no effect. The duration of the steel with various anti-corrosive protection has been predicted by the FEMFAT software.
