Abstract
V skoraj vsakem gospodinjstvu v današnjem razvitem svetu se srečujemo s hladilnimi in zamrzovalnimi aparati. V ţelji po optimizaciji hladilno-zamrzovalnega aparata je bil izdelan numerični model za prenos toplote skozi stene aparata. V numerični model smo vključili in raziskali ţe znane korelacije za popis naravne konvekcije, s čimer smo določili toplotne prestopnosti med zrakom in vsemi stenami obravnavanega aparata. V nalogi so predstavljeni rezultati meritev, ki so potrdile ustreznost numeričnega modela. Na osnovi parametrične analize smo določili najboljše razmerje med stroški izolacije v ovoju ter rabo električne energije hladilno zamrzovalnega aparata.

Title:Experimental validation of a numerical model for heat transfer through walls of a typical combined household refrigerated and freezing appliance
Abstract:
In present developed world cooling and freezing appliances are present in almost every household. In order to optimize the combined refrigerated and freezing appliance a numerical model for transient heat transfer through it's walls has been made. In the numerical model, known correlations for describing the natural convection have been included which yielded to determined heat transfer coefficient between the air and all of the walls of the appliance. Several measurements have been preformed which confirmed the suitability of the numerical model. Parametric analysis gave us the best ratio between the insulation costs and electrical energy consumption of the combined refrigerated and freezing appliance.
