Abstract
Označevanje in usmerjanje je del informacijskega oblikovanja, ki nas seznani z informacijami okoli nas in nam pomaga pri orientaciji v prostoru. V diplomskem delu je predstavljen projekt označevanja in usmerjanja v vrtcu, ki se od klasičnih usmerjevalnih sistemov razlikuje po igrivosti in večjem poudarku na slikovnem označevanju. Poleg tega se razlikuje tudi v širokem starostnem razponu svojih uporabnikov. Namenjen je tako otrokom, njihovim staršem kot tudi starim staršem. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljena izhodišča in usmeritve za oblikovanje posameznih elementov, ki jih potrebujemo v označevalnem in usmerjevalnem sistemu. Poleg likovnega oblikovanja posameznih elementov pa sta pri informacijskem oblikovanju ključnega pomena tudi jasna in urejena struktura ter hierarhija informacij. V eksperimentalnem delu je na podlagi teh izhodišč izdelan projekt označevanja in usmerjanja. Na kratko je predstavljen arhitekturni idejni projekt vrtca, ki se ga je grafično in tipografsko opremilo. Izdelane so pisava po meri in ilustracije, ki so uporabljene za označevanje v prostoru. Označevalni sistem obsega označevanje poti, igralnic, otroških garderobnih omaric ter ostalih prostorov v vrtcu. Z izdelavo diplomskega dela smo prikazali, da je označevalni sistem v arhitekturnem projektu zelo pomemben, saj pripomore k boljši orientaciji v prostoru in hitrejšemu dostopu do pravih informacij. Poleg tega pa usmerjevalni sistem v vrtcu lahko oblikujemo na način, da služi tudi za igro in učenje otrok.

Title:Wayfinding in kindergarten
Abstract:
Information design consists of labelling and routing. Well designed information is crucial for successful orientation in an indoor space. In this diploma thesis a project of labelling and orientation in a kindergarten is presented. It’s playfulness and a greater emphasis on image labelling di ers from the classic guiding systems. In addition, it also has a much broader age range of it’s users. It is intended for children, their parents and grandparents. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the starting points and guidelines for the design of the individual elements. These are crucial in information design. Apart from the artistic design of individual elements, in information design, a clear and orderly structure and information hierarchy is also of key importance. In experimental work a project of labelling and routing is based on previously stated starting points. This diploma is a quick overview of an architectural design project for a kindergarten, which was graphically and typographically equipped. The objective of this diploma was to design a font and illustrations adequate for kindergarten labelling. The labelling system includes the labelling of paths, playrooms, children's wardrobes and other kindergarten rooms. With the diploma thesis we show that the information design in an architectural project is very important, as it helps with improving orientation in an indoor space and faster access to the right information. In addition, the routing system in the kindergarten can be designed so that it also serves for the play and learning of children.
