Abstract
Za dobro poslovanje organizacije so ključni zaposleni, zato je pomembno, da so zaposleni na delovnem mestu zadovoljni. Organizacijska klima, motivacija, občutek pripadnosti organizaciji, pohvala prispevajo k zadovoljstvu in boljšem delu. Raziskave kažejo, da zadovoljni in bolj motivirani zaposleni hitreje in bolje opravljajo svoje delo. Ljudje smo si med seboj različni, za nekatere je dovolj pohvala in občutek pripadnosti, drugi pa potrebujejo drugačne spodbude, da se v delovnem okolju počutijo dobro. Vsak dan se na delovnem mestu srečujemo z različnimi izzivi, za katere menimo, da jim ne bomo kos, vendar prava spodbuda s strani vodje lahko dela čudeže. Magistrska naloga obravnava zaposlene v lokalni samoupravi. Želela sem ugotoviti, ali se v Mestni občini Nova Gorica in v občini Gorizia motiviranje in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih razlikujeta, ter katera občina bolj vlaga v zaposlene in prispeva k temu, da se zaposleni na delovnem mestu počutijo dobro. Magistrska naloga predstavlja človeške vire kot najpomembnejši dejavnik za uspešnost in učinkovitost organizacije ter motivatorje, ki vplivajo na zaposlene in prinašajo zadovoljstvo. Raziskava je pokazala, da so zaposleni v občini Nova Gorica bolj motivirani in posledično bolj zadovoljni kot na občini Gorizia, a to zadovoljstvo bi bilo mogoče še povečati. Zaposleni si želijo dobrih odnosov, pozitivno delovno klimo ter možnost izobraževanj, kjer bi svoje zanje, spretnosti in sposobnosti še nadgradili.

Title:MOTIVATION AND SATISFACTION OF EMPLOYEES IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF NOVA GORICA AND MUNICIPALITIES OF GORIZIA IN ITALY
Abstract:
The satisfaction of the employees at the workplace is the key of good business. Their well-being is important. Organizational climate, motivation, sense of belonging to the organization contribute to satisfaction and better work. Researches show that satisfied and motivated employees perform quicker and better their work. We are different some people need praise and feeling of belonging, while others need different incentives to feel good in the working environment. Employees facing various challenges at workplace, which they aren`t always able to cope with, but the real incentive of the leader can do wonders. The master's thesis is dedicated to employees in local self-government. I wanted to determine how the motivation and satisfaction of employees in the Municipality of Nova Gorica and in the Municipality of Gorizia are different, and which municipality invests more in the employees and contributes to the well-being of the employees at the workplace. The master's thesis presents human resources as the most important factor for the success and effectiveness of the organization and the motivators that influence employees and bring satisfaction. The survey included 60 employees in the Municipality of Nova Gorica and 50 employees in the Municipality of Gorizia. The survey showed that the employees in the Municipality of Nova Gorica are more motivated and consequently more satisfied than in the Municipality of Gorizia. Employees want good relations, positive working atmosphere and the possibility of training to continue to upgrade their skills and abilities.
