Abstract
Naprave interneta stvari so omogočile višjo učinkovitost in avtomatizacijo vsakodnevnih procesov.

Title:Security implications of internet of things and its threat actors
Abstract:
Internet of things has made a profound effect on the efficiency and automatisation of our everyday life. Manufacturers are trying to make devices as user friendly and easy to use as they can, but they tend to forget on an important part, which is security – and users do not pay it much attention either. Lack of it has many implications for users, organisations and, with the integration of internet of things into critical infrastructure, for states and the wellbeing of citizens as well. Cyber-attacks on internet of things are growing yearly and allow threat actors to acquire personal, sensitive or other information and data of users, to invade their privacy, gain access to devices and networks or build armies of compromised devices and use them to carry out cyber-attacks against other ICT. Threat actors in cyberspace are numerous and use cyber-attacks and other actions to achieve their goal, all while abusing the anonymity and global reach of cyberspace to hide. Damage caused by threat actors or negligent users can be financial and up to million-dollar loss for bigger organizations; social, causing damage to reputation, clients or users; and physical, which along with the physical damage to systems and property can lead to serious injuries or death.
