Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je obravnavan postopek snovanja/konstruiranja izdelka od ideje do izdelave prototipa in njegovega vrednotenja. Ves postopek je razdeljen na faze, ki zajemajo razčlenitev problema, snovanje idejne zasnove, izdelavo konceptov rešitev in njihovega vrednotenja, izbira najboljšega koncepta/rešitve, 3-D modeliranja, trdnostne analize modela, izbira najprimernejše tehnologije za izdelavo prototipa in v zadnji fazi izdelava samega prototipa s tehnologijo 3-D tiskanja. Konkretno se naloga osredotoča na izboljšavo oz. nadgradnjo zadnjega zavornega sistema na motociklu. Kateri ne bi le izboljšal obstoječe zavorne zmogljivosti, vendar tudi omogočal varno vožnjo motocikla ljudem, ki zaradi zdravstvenih ali drugih težav ne morajo uporabljati klasičnega zavornega sistema s upravljanjem z desno nogo. Prav tako bi bil sistem uporaben na povsem drugih področjih motociklizma, kot je akrobatska vožnja in cestno hitrostno dirkanje.

Title:Upgrading the rear braking system on the motorcycle
Abstract:
The diploma paper deals with the process of designing / constructing a product from the idea to the production of a prototype and its evaluation. The entire process is divided into stages that cover the breakdown of the problem, the design of conceptual design, the development of concepts of solutions and their evaluation, the choice of the best concept / solution, 3-D modeling, structural model analysis, choosing the most suitable technology for prototype manufacturing and making prototype with 3-D printing technology. In particular, the task focuses on the improvement or upgrading the rear braking system on the motorcycle. Which would not only improve the braking performance, but also enable safe riding/use of motorcycle to people who due to health or other problems, can’t use classic braking system with right-foot control. Also, the system would be useful in other areas of motorcycling, such as stunt riding and road racing.
