Preizkus uporabnosti celovitega opisa gradnikov na osnovi 3D modelov pri sodobnih CAD modelirnikih

Industrijska podjetja težijo k maksimalni kapaciteti proizvodnje, zato se proizvodni časi posledično skrajšujejo. Pojavila se je težnja po novejši tehnologiji tehnične dokumentacije, ki trenutno temelji na dvodimenzionalnih pogledih modela. Ker podjetja uporabljajo različne modelirnike, se pojavi problem izmenjave podatkov. V nalogi smo se osredotočili na trenutno podprtost izmenjave podatkov s pomočjo formata STEP 242. Odločili smo se, da v več različnih programskih paketih izdelamo model in ga nato poizkušamo uvoziti v ostale modelirnike. Ugotovili smo, da trenutna podprtost še ne omogoča popolne implementacije tovrstne tehnologije v industrijo.

• Title: Usability test of model based definition on modern CAD modellers

Abstract

Industrial companies tend to maximize production capacities, and consequently, production times are reduced. There has been a tendency towards newer technical documentation technologies, which is currently based on two-dimensional model views. Because companies use different 3d modeling software, there is a problem of data exchange. In the project, we focused on the currently supported data exchange using the STEP 242 format. We decided to create a model in several different software packages and then try to import it into other 3d modeling software. We have found that current support does not yet allow full implementation of such technology in the industry.
