Abstract
V nalogi je obravnavano področje izračuna generacije potovanj, ki se uporablja v prometnih študijah za določanje obstoječe količine prometa in njegove napovedi. Na izbrano temo so zbrane obstoječe metode za izračun generacije potovanj. Opravljena je ocena prednosti in slabosti posameznih metod. Na podlagi pregleda obstoječih metod in strokovne literature je izbrana metodologija za izdelavo lastnega orodja za izračun generacije prometa glede na dejavnost. Razlog za izdelavo je predvsem v pomanjkanju lokalnih podatkov za izvedbo izračunov, ki bodo merodajni za območje Slovenije. Orodje za izračun generacije potovanj se deli na dva dela. Prvi del je namenjen izračunom na ravni prometnih modelov, drugi del pa je uporaben za izračune na posameznih lokacijah. Za potrebe izdelave orodja so pridobljeni različni socio-ekonomski podatki, izvedene poizvedbe po ustanovah in opravljena štetja prometa na območjih posameznih dejavnosti. S pomočjo zbranih podatkov so upoštevane razlike v potovalnih navadah prebivalcev glede na slovenske regije in občine. Na ravni posameznih lokacij so izračuni z orodjem primerjani z izračuni po obstoječih metodah. Rezultati kažejo na dobro ujemanje v generirani količini prometa pri večini obravnavanih dejavnosti. Izdelano orodje se je na tej ravni v praksi že izkazalo za uporabno v sklopu prometne študije za OPPN Parmova. Opravljena je primerjava orodja na ravni prometnih modelov z rezultati obstoječega makroskopskega prometnega modela za širše območje ljubljanske urbane regije in validacija rezultatov s pomočjo statističnih podatkov. Predlagan model generacije potovanj sledi podobni logiki obstoječega modela za širše območje ljubljanske regije in daje primerljive rezultate.

Title:Activity based trip generation : master thesis
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the topic of trip generation calculation, which is used in traffic studies to determine current and future traffic volume. A review of current methods for trip generation calculation is done. Strengths and weaknesses of each method are assessed. Based on review of the current methods and literature a methodolgy for creating an activity based trip generation tool is chosen. Main reason for creating a new tool is the lack of locally based data needed for performing calculations that will be accurate fort the territory of Slovenia. The tool created for calculating trip generation is split into two parts. First part is meant for making calculations on the level of traffic models, the second part is useful for calculations on specific locations. For the purpose of creating the tool a set of socio-economic data is gathered, inquiries at the companies are made and traffic is counted for the areas of specific activites. With the help of gathered data travel habits of people are differentiated based on the regions and municipalities of Slovenia. At the level of individual locations calculations of the tool are compared with calculations of existing methods. Results show a good match in the amount of generated traffic fort he majority of activities. The created tool at this level has already proven to be useful in a traffic study needed for a detailed spatial plan. A comparison of tool based results on the level of traffic models with results of existing macroscopic traffic model for the greater urban region of Ljubljana is made. Validation of results with statistical data is also performed. Suggested trip generation model that is used in the tool follows a simmilar logic to the existing model for the greater urban region of Ljubljana and provides comparable reults.
