Abstract
Kakovost podatkov, pridobljenih na osnovi anketnega raziskovanja, je odvisna predvsem od respondentov. V tem okviru se diplomsko delo osredotoča na iskrenost respondentov pri odgovarjanju na občutljiva vprašanja v spletnih anketah. Respondenti namreč določena anketna vprašanja dojamejo kot vprašanja, kjer bi jih ob točnem odgovoru npr. družba lahko obsojala. Respondent v takem primeru na vprašanje ne odgovori s točnim odgovorom, ampak ga priredi kot bolj družbeno sprejemljivega. V diplomskem delu smo pregledali literaturo na temo pristopov k odgovarjanju na občutljiva vprašanja in na tej osnovi pripravili eksperiment (n=478). Cilj eksperimenta je bil ugotoviti, kako lahko tako imenovani blažilni način zastavljanja občutljivega vprašanja vpliva na odgovore. Za raziskavo smo uporabili temi uživanja alkohola ter vožnjo pod vplivom alkohola. Respondenti so bili razdeljeni v dve skupini. Prva skupina je odgovarjala na anketna vprašanja brez uvodnih blažilnih vprašanj, druga skupina respondentov pa je odgovarjala na vprašanja, ki so vsebovala uvodna blažilna vprašanja. Rezultati so pokazali, da uvodna blažilna vprašanja pomembno vplivajo na respondente in jih spodbudijo k iskrenejšim odgovorom.

Title:Honesty of respondents answering sensitive questions in web surveys
Abstract:
The quality of information obtained in surveys strongly depends on the answers provided by respondents. Within this context, the thesis focuses on the honesty of respondents when answering sensitive questions in web surveys. Namely, certain questions are more prone to socially desirable answers. In this case, the respondent does not give the correct answer, but answers with a certain bias and in a socially desirable way. We examined the literature of the past researches about answering sensitive questions. Based on this overview we conducted an experiment (n=478). The aim of the experiment was to find out what are the effects of the loading–question strategy on sensitive questions. We used the topics of alcohol consumption and drunk driving. The respondents were divided into two groups. The first group was answering questions without any introduction while the other group was answering questions where specific loading questions were first introduced. The results showed that the loading-question strategy plays an important role in the way respondents answer questions, as it strongly encourage them to be more honest in their answers.
