Izdelava amaterskega zvočnega posnetka v domačem studiu

Abstract
V diplomskem delu sta predstavljeni priprava in izvedba snemanja glasbenega posnetka. V začetnem delu so opisani kratek razvoj analogne opreme in postopkov za snemanje ter prehod iz analognega snemanja v digitalno. Opisani sta strojna in programska oprema, ki sem ju uporabljal za snemanje. Na kratko so predstavljene tudi druge možnosti snemanja. V nadaljevanju so predstavljeni postopek snemanja ter montaža in obdelava posnetka. Podrobneje so opisani posamezni elementi studia. Opisane so težave, na katere sem naletel pri nastajanju posnetka ter reševanje težav. Predstavljena je tudi uporaba programskih vtičnikov, s katerimi sem nadomestil uporabo strojne opreme, kot sta kitarski in bass ojačevalnik. Cilj, ki sem si ga zastavil, je bil končni posnetek, posnet s cenovno ugodno opremo na področju glasbene industrije, primeren za samopromocijo glasbene skupine. Končni izdelek je primer posnetka, ki je dolg trideset sekund. Vsebuje posnete kitare, bobne ter vokal. Zaključen izdelek kaže na to, da se tudi na tak način da posneti zelo kakovosten posnetek. Kakovost je odvisna od časa, ki si ga pripravljen porabiti za izdelek, znanja ter posluha posameznika.

Title:Production of amateur sound recording in home studio
Abstract:
In the thesis is presented preparing and execution of an audio recording. In the first part, the short development of the analogue equipment is described as well as the procedures for making a recording and the period when digital equipment replaced the analogue. The hardware and the software that were used in the process of recording are described. Some other options for making a recording are presented. Then the presentation of the recording session, the editing and the processing of the recording follow. It involves a detailed description of every individual component of a studio. The issues that appeared during the making of the recording are described and how I managed to solve them. The presentation of the usage of software plug-ins, which were used to substitute the use of hardware equipment such as guitar and bass amplifier. The set goal was the final product, which was recorded with a reasonably priced equipment in musical field also suitable for self-promotion of the musical band. The final product is an example of a recording, which is thirty seconds long. The product contains recordings of a guitar, drums and voice. The finished product shows this is also an effective way to make a quality recording. The quality depends on the time that one is willing to invest in the product also from knowledge and pitch.
