Abstract
Obravnavamo igro Conwayevi vojaki, ki jo je predstavil John Conway. V njej mora igralec s preskakovanjem premakniti figure vojakov s spodnje polovice neskončne igralne deske čim dlje na zgornjo prazno polovico – v ”puščavo”. Zanima nas, koliko polj daleč lahko pridemo. Nato obravnavamo še nekaj drugih verzij igre.

Title:Conway’s Soldiers
Abstract:
We analyse the game Conway’s Soldiers introduced by John Conway. In it the player must move the soldier pegs from the bottom half of infinite playing board to the empty upper half – ”the desert”. We want to know, how many fields far we can go. Then we analyse some variations of the game.
