Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava optimizacijo progresivnega orodja za štancanje medeninastih kontaktnih zatikov, ki se izdelujejo v velikih serijah. Cilj optimizacije je bil doseči povečanje produktivnosti ob nespremenjeni kakovosti izdelkov. Na podlagi pregleda literature in obravnavi teorije, se optimizacija osredotoči na rezilni del orodja. Naloga zajema zasnovo, izdelavo in testiranje novega orodja. Prikazani so postopki izdelave metodnega plana, konstruiranja elementov orodij za posamezne preoblikovalne operacije ter umestitve procesnih operacij v delujoče orodje. Izvedene so meritve temperature in obremenitev rezilnega pestiča med preoblikovalnim procesom ob različnih zračnostih orodja. Na podlagi rezultatov meritev je določena optimalna rezilna zračnost.

Title:Optimization of progressive stamping tool for brass flat connectors
Abstract:
The work studies the optimization of progressive stamping tool for blanking brass contacts, which are produced in high volumes. The goal of the optimization was to reach higher productivity, while quality of blanked products had to stay the same. Based on literature review and after reviewing the theory, the optimization focuses on cutting part of the progressive stamping tool. The work involves design, production and testing of the new tool. Process of sequence planning, designing elements of individual forming operations and placement of process stability operations is shown. Temperature and load measurements are made on blanking punch during the long term tests, with purpose to find the right die clearance. Based on the test results, the optimum die clearance is determined for high speed blanking of brass contacts.
