Izdelava lesenega in kombiniranega albuma za numizmatike

Namen diplomskega dela je izdelati inovativen album za numizmatike. Od obstoječih albumov se razlikuje po uporabi, obliki formata, izbiri materiala in tudi po osebni noti, ki mu jo je dal oblikovalec. V diplomskem delu je prikazana izdelava dveh inovativnih posebnih numizmatičnih albumov, za katera lahko predvidevamo, da bi jih ciljna skupina z veseljem izbrala za svojo zbirko kovancev. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh sklopov. Prvi sklop je teoretični del in vsebuje razlago pojmov o numizmatiki, numizmatičnih predmetih, podane so tehnološke operacije in vrste numizmatične opreme. Posebej smo se osredotočili na predstavitev ljubiteljske numizmatike in novcev. Podrobneje smo raziskali tudi uporabo laserskih rezalnikov in izdelavo furnirja. Vsebina drugega sklopa zajema izbiro primernih materialov za izdelavo lesenega albuma. Opisane so metode preizkušanja, ki smo jih uporabili za lažjo izbiro materiala za izdelavo končnega izdelka. Sledijo razprava z obrazložitvijo rezultatov meritev, opisanim potekom načrtovanja in izdelave albuma ter nekaj napotkov za nove zbiralce kovancev, ki so dodani kot priloga. Rezultat diplomskega dela sta fizično izdelan leseni album in načrt kombiniranega albuma.

• Title: Manufacture of wooden and combined numismatic album

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to create an innovative album for numismatics. In comparison with the existing albums, it differs in use, in form of the format, in choice of material and in the personal note given by the designer. In the present study the production of two innovative „special“ numismatic albums, for witch we can assume that would be chosen with great pleasure by the targeted groups for theirs storage of coins, is described. The first part of the present study is theoretical. It contains explanations of terms such asnumismatics andnumismatic objects, technological operations and types of numismatic equipment are described. We especially focused on the presentation of amateur numismatics and coins. We also studied the usage of laser cutters and veneer production. The second part of the present study discusses the choice of adequate materials for making a wooden album. It also describes the testing methods we used. Based on the obtained resultsthe selection of the appropriate material for the final product was easier. Further on, we explained the results of the measurements and described the process of design and making of album. We also gave some tips for new coin collectors, witch are added as an appendix. Finally, the result of the present study is produced wooden album and the design for combined album.
