ZADOVOLJSTVO OBČANOV Z DELOM POLICIJE V LOKALNEM OBMOČJU

Osrednja tema mojega diplomskega dela je predstaviti stališče, splošno mnenje in zadovoljstvo občanov Domžal z delom in učinkovitostjo Policijske postaje Domžale. Da sem zbrala informacije javnega značaja, sem izbrala statistični pristop in izvedla anketo s pomočjo vprašalnika, ki sem ga sestavila na spletnem programu 1-ka. Vprašalnik sem objavila na Facebooku, družabnem omrežju, in ga po elektronski pošti poslala znanim občanom, ki uporabljajo Facebook. Anketo je v celoti izpolnilo dvainsedemdeset anketirancev, le delno pa jih je odgovorilo osemnajst. Analiza anketnih rezultatov je pokazala, da so občani Domžal zadovoljni z učinkovitostjo izvrševanja in delovanja policije. Trdijo, da so policisti Policijske postaje Domžale prijazni in vljudni, vedno pripravljeni pomagati, odgovorni in odločni ter pošteni pri svojem delu. Poleg tega so uspešni pri nadzoru in urejanju cestnega prometa, kot tudi vzdrževanju javnega reda in miru. Rezultati moje ankete so pokazali tudi, da občani Domžal, od policije - kot pomembnega organa Ministrstva za notranje zadeve RS, pričakujejo več vloženega truda v delo; predvsem v razširitev sodelovanja z javnostjo.

• Title: PUBLIC SATISFACTION WITH THE POLICE IN LOKAL AREA

Abstract

The subject of my degree is to present the perspective and the opinion of the local residents of Domžale with the work and effectiveness of DPD (Domžale Police Department). In order to get the information on general public opinion I chose a statistical approach and carried out a survey by the aid of a questionnaire. I created the questionnaire on the Webpage 1-ka. I made the questionnaire public on Facebook - a social media, and sent e-mails to all local residents who use Facebook.The survey was fully filled out by seventy-two interviewees and partly filled out by eighteen. The analysis of survey results revealed that the local residents of Domžale are content with the effectiveness of police performance and activities.They affirm that the policemen of DPD (Domžale Police Department) are kind and polite, always ready to help, responsible,determined, and honest in their actions. Besides, they are successful in road traffic control and regulation, as well as in maintaining public order in our town. The results of my survey also revealed that the local residents of Domžale expect the police - as an important body of the Ministry of Interior to put even more effort into their work, especially into expanding their cooperation with the public.
