Abstract
3D-tisk je ena izmed najsodobnejših tehnologij, ki omogoča prenos virtualne 3D-oblike v fizično obliko. S pomočjo 3D-tiska lahko izdelamo široko paleto plastičnih modelov, maket ter raznih prototipov različnih kakovosti in oblik. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljene tehnologije 3D-tiska, še posebej tehnologiji stereolitografije in ekstrudiranja termoplastov. V eksperimentalnem delu sta predstavljena oprema, ki je bila uporabljena za tisk, in progam Blender, ki smo ga uporabili za modeliranje. Na podlagi različnih 3D-natisnjenih testnih form in predmetov smo preizkušali in analizirali prednosti in omejitve tehnologij stereolitografije in ekstrudiranja termoplastov na različnih tiskalnikih. Za tisk na osnovi stereolitografije je bil uporabljen tiskalnik Form 2, ki ga je izdelalo podjetje Formlabs, za tisk na osnovi ekstrudiranja materiala pa tiskalnik CubePro Duo podjetja 3D Systems. V sklepnem delu diplomskega dela pa so povzete ugotovitve raziskav s področja 3D-tiska obeh omenjenih tehnologij ter analizirane prednosti in slabosti posamezne tehnologije. Na podlagi rezultatov natisnjenih 3D-testnih form in predmetov so podane smernice za možne izboljšave, ki bi lahko privedle do boljše kakovosti tiska.

Title:Print quality at stereolithography and thermoplastic extrusion
Abstract:
3D print is one of the most modern technologies that enables the transfer of the virtual 3D form into the actual physical form. A variety of plastic models and different prototypes can be made with the help of 3D print. In the theoretical part of my thesis the technologies of the 3D print are presented, especially stereolithography and thermoplastic extrusion. In the experimental part the printing equipment and the program Blender are presented. Blender was used for modelling. On the basis of 3D test forms and objects the advantages and disadvantages of stereolithography and thermoplastic extrusion performed by different printers were tested and analyzed. The printer Form 2 was used in the case of stereolithography. The printer was made by Formlabs. The printer CubePro Duo was used in the case of thermoplastic extrusion. It was made by 3D Systems. In the conclusion the foundings of the research of the above mentioned technologies are presented as well as the advantages and disadvantages of both technologies. On the basis of the results of the printed 3D test forms and the objects made, there are some guidelines given in order to improve the quality of printing.
