Abstract
Za izdelavo mikro utorov s točno določenimi oblikami obstaja malo primernih postopkov, ki so obenem dolgotrajni in dragi. Rezanje z grelno žičko je enostaven postopek. Uporablja se predvsem za rezanje kontur v mehkejših umetnih materialih, kjer je potrebna manjša natančnost. V zaključni nalogi smo poskušali ugotoviti, ali je izdelava mikro utorov, kjer je potrebna boljša natančnost, možna z grelno žičko. Mikro utore smo izdelovali v pleksi steklo. Izdelali smo nosilec grelne žičke in sestavili postrojenje, ki je omogočalo izdelavo mikro utorov. Izdelanim mikro utorom smo izmerili širino in globino ter ugotovili, da so precej neenakomerni. Na podlagi rezultatov zaključujemo, da je za izdelavo mikro utorov uporaba grelne žičke neprimerna.

Title:Manufacturing of micro grooves by resistance heating wire
Abstract:
There are only few suitable procedures for producing micro grooves with precise shapes. Those procedures are often expensive and demand a specially dedicated machine tools. Heat wire cutting is a simple process but it is mainly used for cutting contours in a softer foam where less precision is required. In this work we tried to determine whether the production of accurate micro grooves is possible with a heat wire. For the production of these we selected the base material - plexiglass. We constructed a heat wire holder and built an assembly that allowed us to make micro grooves. We measured the width and depth of successfully manufactured grooves and found them to be rather uneven. Based on this results, we concluded that the use of the heat wire is not appropriate for the production of precise micro grooves.
