Abstract
Družinska pismenost je del bralne pismenosti, ki vključuje medgeneracijsko branje na vseh področjih dejavnosti ter na vseh področjih otrokovega razvoja. Razumemo jo kot različne dejavnosti znotraj družine, povezane s pismenostjo v najširšem pomenu besede, ko hkrati sodelujejo različne generacije in se skupaj učijo. V delu smo raziskali področje družinske pismenosti. Namen magistrskega dela je ugotoviti, koliko so starši predšolskih otrok seznanjeni z družinsko pismenostjo in kakšne dejavnosti družinske pismenosti izvajajo splošne knjižnice na Dolenjskem. Pri raziskovanju stanja na področju družinske pismenosti je v obeh raziskavah uporabljena metoda anketnega vprašalnika. Vzorec je sestavljen iz 60 staršev predšolskih otrok vrtca Mokronožci in 8 splošnih knjižnic na Dolenjskem. Rezultati raziskave nakazujejo, da starši poznajo programe družinske pismenosti in da skupaj z otrokom sodelujejo vsaj v enem programu. S področjem družinske pismenosti se na Dolenjskem ukvarjajo skoraj vse knjižnice. Vendar so v knjižnici to bolj dejavnosti, ki so v največji meri namenjene spodbujanju bralne pismenosti, kjer je knjižnicam glavni cilj spodbujanje družinskega branja in družinskega obiska knjižnice.

Abstract:
Family literacy is a part of reading literacy, which involves intergenerational reading in all areas of activity and in all areas of a child%s development. It is viewed as various activities within a family that are connected with literacy in the broadest sense of the word, as different generations work together and learn together. This thesis researches family literacy. The purpose of this master's thesis is to determine how familiar the parents of preschool children are with family literacy and which family literacy activities are being carried out by general libraries in the Dolenjska region. To research the situation regarding family literacy, both surveys used the questionnaire method. The sample is made up of 60 parents of preschool children attending the Mokronožci kindergarten and of 8 general libraries in the Dolenjska region. The research results indicate that parents are familiar with family literacy programmes and that they are participating in at least one programme with their child. Almost all libraries in the Dolenjska region are engaged in family literacy activities. However, the library activities are mostly intended for promoting reading literacy, with the libraries% main goal being the promotion of family reading and family visits to the library.
