The purpose of the master's thesis was to produce night photographs of athletes in a variety of conditions with different lighting and lighting accessories. The theoretical part of the task presents the basics of night photography, the equipment used and the rules that must be taken into consideration for a successful night photograph. Sports photography and equipment are also being used. The experimental part describes seven night sports photos of mountain bikers and mountain runners and photo processing in software. Presented software, through which digital photos are processed. There are various ways to repair photos, remove elements, light fixes, cropping tools, noise removal, color corrections, clippings, and HDR shooting techniques, where more than one photo is made. Most attention is paid to night sports photography. Athletes are photographed in various environments, in the forest, on a lawn beside the city, on snow surfaces and in the mountains. In addition, they are photographed in different light conditions, in high cloudiness, in a full moon, in a mist, in almost clear sky, and in pure darkness. Depending on the conditions, flashlights and colored light are added. The final results are described, the compositional guidelines added and the problems that occurred during the shooting.
